1. Who we are and what this covers

Maze Tower Wars (“the Game,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Samuel Skansi (“Operator”), located in Youngsville, Louisiana, reachable at admin@mazetw.com. These Terms govern your use of mazetw.com and any related services. By using the Game or signing in, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Game.

2. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. If you are not old enough to meet your local legal age for entering this kind of agreement, you may use the Game only with a parent or guardian’s permission.

3. Your account

Some features, such as online matches, stats and leaderboards, need an account. Accounts are created by signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Tell us at admin@mazetw.com if you think someone else is using your account. You may only keep one account unless we say otherwise.

4. Fair play and conduct

You agree not to:

cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, scripts, macros, or automation to play, or manipulate matches or rankings, including by deliberately losing, boosting, or colluding;
harass, threaten, or abuse other players, or choose a display name that is offensive, hateful, impersonating, or misleading;
interfere with or overload the Game, its servers, or its networks, or try to access accounts, systems, or data that aren’t yours;
do anything illegal through the Game.

We may warn, restrict, reset stats, or permanently ban accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

5. Our intellectual property

The Game, including its software, source code, game design, balance and tuning data, bot behavior, user interface, 3D models, textures, animations, sounds, artwork, text, logos, and the name “Maze Tower Wars,” is owned by Operator or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms give you no ownership rights in any of it.

6. What you may do

We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play the Game through mazetw.com for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms.

7. What you may not do with the Game

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

copy, save for redistribution, reproduce, mirror, frame, rehost, or republish the Game, its code, or any of its assets, or host a version of the Game on any other website, app, or server;
decompile, reverse engineer, deobfuscate, or extract the Game’s source code, game logic, tuning data, models, textures, audio, or other assets, except to the extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction;
use scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools, including AI tools or AI agents, to copy, clone, or reproduce the Game, its code, assets, design, or balance data, or to build a competing or derivative game or service;
use the Game, its assets, or its data to train a machine-learning model;
remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or watermark notices;
sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Game or your account.

We use technical measures and watermarking to detect unauthorized copies, and we enforce our rights, including through takedown notices and legal action.

8. Your content

Your display name and any text you submit through the Game are “Your Content.” You keep ownership of it, but you give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it as needed to run the Game (for example, showing your name on leaderboards and in matches). You promise Your Content doesn’t break the law or anyone’s rights. We may remove or change Your Content that breaks these Terms.

9. Game data

Match results, ratings, rankings, and stats are part of how the Game works and are not property you own or can transfer. We may adjust, reset, or remove them (for example, after a balance update, a bug, or cheating).

10. Changes to the Game

The Game is in active development. We may change, add, or remove features, rebalance gameplay, reset stats, or shut down the Game or any part of it at any time. We do our best to keep things fair, but we make no promise that any feature will stay the same.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Game and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or end your access at any time, especially for breaking these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability, and governing law, will survive.

12. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on mazetw.com infringes your copyright, send a notice to admin@mazetw.com that includes: your contact details; a description of the copyrighted work; the location of the allegedly infringing material; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; plus your signature. We may remove material and end the accounts of repeat infringers.

13. Disclaimers

The Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free service, or that your progress or stats will be preserved. Online play depends on networks and devices outside our control.

14. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to US$100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in or serving Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, and you consent to those courts’ jurisdiction, unless the law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and may notify you in the Game. Continuing to use the Game after a change means you accept the new Terms.
